More Christmas pictures

Now who doesn't love a mariachi nutcracker?

Gobble

I wanted to make sure to take pictures of some of the things that Logan makes for me in school. There will be a day when we lose some of these items and honestly we can't save them all. Where would be keep it all?

This is a Turkey he made over Thanksgiving.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

I love decorating for Christmas. A few of my favorite things are snowglobes and Nutcrackers. A home really feels cozy when you make it your own. I suppose some people thing it's silly to decorate but when you have kids it changes. All the work is worth it!

Master bath

Scott and Tom started working on the master bath last week. Things are starting really slow but I know we will just have to be patient. After taking off the tiles around the tub they found more damage then we originally expected so they will need to rip out the entire wall that connects the master bedroom to the master bath. This is actually better then it sounds because mainly it's drywall and some painting that will need to be done. Because they will need to take the wall down and texture it we have decided this would be the perfect time to repaint the bedroom a color that we like. We have decided on Comfort Gray by Sherwin Williams which is a really light gray with a hint of green in it. It is the next shade up from Sea Salt. (color of bath) I feel proud of the things that we have done with the house so far and can't wait to share more progress with everyone.

I will take some ugly pictures tonight of the mold and torn apart walls.

A fresh start

I've decided to start this blog because we have been doing so much work on the house that I wanted to be able to see the process and progress that is being made with it. We are currently working on remodeling the spare and master bath.

That is a before and after picture of the spare bath. The old bath had a huge mirror above the sink and it had these really ugly brown cabinets that we never used. We had a recessed medicine cabinet installed and we also replaced the sink with a pedestal one instead.
